Webster Chews Up Brockport

It’s a dog eat dog world, and Wednesday night, Dave Brust’s Webster Yankees chewed on the Brockport Riverbats like they were Milk Bones.
Brian Pullyblank (So.Illinois) went the distance while Rhett Goodmiller (Central Michigan), Shawn Bailey (SUNY Cortland) and Matt Jacobs (UMass-Lowell) led a 16-hit attack as Webster downed Brockport, 9-1 in New York Collegiate Baseball League action.
Webster pasted runs on the board in the first four innings.
Bailey got things started for the home nine in the bottom of the first with a one-out single. Goodmiller followed with a base rap, and Nate Koontz (Ball State) plated the first run with a single to right center.
Webster used a two-out rally in the second. Chriss Soldi (UMass-Lowell) worked a base on balls. Ricky Clark (Central Michigan) kept the inning alive with a free pass. Bailey dropped a bunt inside the third baseline to...
