Pac-10 Baseball Set To Begin Conference Round-Robin This Weekend

The Pac-10 Conference baseball season is set to begin the annual round-robin gauntlet this weekend as the overall conference from top-to-bottom looks to be stronger than ever.
Six teams are ranked in the RPI Index Top-40, with UCLA at No. 1, Arizona State at No. 3, Oregon State at No. 8, Washington State at No. 23, Stanford at No. 27, and Arizona at No. 32.
Although Boydsworld.com awards the Pac-10 as the nation's overall best conference, Rivals.com voices a different tune in its weekly power conference rankings…let the debate begin.
One shills to corporate sponsors (Rivals), while the other relies on empirical data like the record of your opponents and the winning percentage of your opponents-opponents (Boyds).
The opening weekend in the Pac is set for some outstanding matchups and it will be interesting to see who jumps out of the gate to lead the Pac!
