North Carolina and High Point Battle in Food War During Rain Delay
Published by Kyle Newport on April 15, 2015

Although the North Carolina Tar Heels and the High Point Panthers were scheduled to play nine innings of baseball on Tuesday night, the two teams instead ended up engaging in a war.
A food war.
Heavy rain forced the game to be delayed in the bottom of the sixth inning. As a way to kill time, the teams turned UNC's Boshamer Stadium into a war zone and started chucking fruit at each other.

The game was eventually called after a 70-minute delay, with the Tar Heels pulling out a 1-0 victory in six innings.
