Miami Hurricanes vs. Florida Gators: More Than Just a Super Regional

Miami at Florida. It's a grudge match. Miami hates Florida. They are still mad that Florida won't play them in football. They say UF is chicken. UF says Miami needs UF, UF does not need Miami. Why help them?
Miami views UF fans as snobs. UF fans view Miami fans as thugs. If you've ever spent any time in Miami, you'd understand why.
Miami has the four national titles. Florida has none. Don't think Miami fans let that fact go unsaid. Florida knocked UM out of the tournament last year. This not unusual. Normally one team knocks out the other.
These two face each other every year. Normally it's the first big series of the season. The winner lays down plenty of smack talk on the loser. There is no love lost between the Gators and the 'Canes. And with a trip to Omaha riding on it, this weekend series should be fun.
Since two bitter rivals normally won't play each other in football or basketball, baseball is the biggest sport these two meet in. This will be for some serious bragging rights. This is not your normal college baseball series. This is huge.
