Houston College Classic 2011: Utah Baseball Downs Texas A&M 4-3

The Utah Utes made it two in a row, downing the Baylor Bears (5-5, 0-0 Big 12) by the score of 4-3 in the second game for both teams in the 2011 Houston College Classic.
Utah (2-5, 0-0 MWC) will face Kentucky in their final game of the Classic at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
First baseman C.J. Cron went 2-for-5, knocking in two runs, with shortstop James Brooks scoring two runs on two hits in five at-bats.
Baylor jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first when center fielder Brooks Pinckard scored on a RBI triple by left fielder Logan Vick.
Pinckard got on base with a leadoff single, advancing to second and third on two wild pitches.
Vick scored the Bears’ second run of the inning on a Max Muncy RBI.
Utah evened the score at 2-all when Brooks and second baseman Michael Beltron scored in the top of the fourth.
Baylor answered with a single run in the bottom of the fourth, to take the score to 3-2 in favor of the Bears.
The Utes came right back, scoring two more runs in the top of the fifth to make the score 4-3.
