Cougar Corner | WSU OF Jared Prince Named Pac-10 Player of the Week

The Pac-10 officially announced WSU senior outfielder Jared Prince has been named Player of the Week for his outstanding performance last week.
Prince led Washington State to a 4-2 record last week, including a 2-1 series victory on the road at Oregon State. By taking the series from the Beavers, WSU is a lock to make it into the NCAA regionals.
The Poulsbo, Wash., native hit .478 (11-for-23) with a home run, two doubles and 10 RBI for the Cougs over the span of the six games played.
He began the week 3-for-4 with three RBI in WSU’s 10-2 win to complete the series sweep in Pullman of Oregon on May 11.
Stepping out of conference against Portland on May 12, Prince ripped his fifth home run of the season and collected three RBI in the 10-5 Cougar win.
