While baseball is a team sport, one swing from one player could be the difference in an entire game. Here are the position players most likely to be the difference.
5. Dustin DeMuth
Not many hitters in college baseball find contact more efficiently than DeMuth. The Indiana infielder boasts a batting average of .389 this season, the 15th best mark in college baseball. The Minnesota Twins drafted him in the eighth round earlier this month.
4. Colin Moran
The Miami Marlins selected the North Carolina Tar Heels third baseman with the sixth overall pick in this year’s MLB Draft. His batting was a major reason why. He hit 13 home runs this season, tied for 24th in college baseball...
