College World Series 2012: Most Disappointing Performances so Far

In one week, a national champion will be crowned in college baseball.
So far though, only two of the eight teams in Omaha have been eliminated. For whoever wins the title this year, there is still plenty of work left.
With one weekend complete in Omaha, what better time to look back and see who has had the most disappointing performance thus far in the 2012 College World Series.
1. Stony Brook & Florida
As the only two teams eliminated thus far, Stony Brook and Florida are easy selections as disappointing teams. That said, they disappointed for different reasons.
Florida, which was a No. 1 seed, never played like a No. 1 as early on it lost to conference rival South Carolina for only the second time on the year. Follow that with a 5-4 loss to Cinderella Kent State and just like that, Florida was out of the tournament.
