College Baseball: Steven Ewing Gets Revenge as Miami Beats Florida Atlantic, 7-3

In their first meeting of the season at Boca Raton, the Florida Atlantic Owls pounded five runs on Miami starter Steven Ewing in the first five innings of the contest.
The Hurricanes made it a game in the sixth inning with three RBI courtesy of Ronny Rodriguez, but it was not enough as the Owls put two more runs on the board to come out with a very satisfying 7-4 victory over Miami. This marks their fist victory over their South Florida rival at home since 2001.
"I threw a lot of pitches down the middle of the plate, letting them hit the ball well," Miami starter Steven Ewing said after the game comparing his two starts against the Owls, "this week I really tried to focus hitting the corners."
Fast forward a month later, and it was payback time for Miami starter Steven Ewing to exact his revenge with eight strikeouts in six innings against FAU.
