College Baseball Game Between Minnesota State and Bemidji State Ends 41-20

On Saturday, two Division II baseball teams put up a football-esque score.
In the second game of a doubleheader, the Minnesota State Mavericks beat the Bemidji State Beavers by the incredible score of 41-20. The game broke the NCAA Division II record for most hits in a game, 56, and produced the second-most combined runs scored, 61. Additionally, Minnesota State's 41 runs set a school record.
The Minnesota State baseball Twitter account tweeted out the final score:
Each team used eight pitchers and combined for a whopping 110 at-bats. Surprisingly, the game was actually close at one point. Minnesota State led, 27-20, in the top of the eighth inning before exploding for 14 runs.
Thankfully for Bemidji State, the game was called after the eighth inning due to the mercy rule, as the Beavers failed to score a single run in the eighth.<...
