ACC Baseball Tournament 2014 Scores: Day 5 Bracket Results, Championship Pick

The ACC baseball tournament championship is set, as Maryland will encounter Georgia Tech for the title game after Saturday weeded out the pretenders.
In reality, the first game between Miami and Duke was all that mattered. The Hurricanes pulled off the win by a 6-5 margin, which sent Duke home for good. Had the Blue Devils won, they would have played for the title.
The top-ranked Hurricanes needed every bit of a 12-inning spectacle to down Duke and send the No. 9 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to the final, as Jacob Heyward hit a double in the final frame and later scored a run to put Miami ahead.
In the second game of the day, North Carolina broke open a 13-7 lead late in the contest against Maryland, a team that appeared to somewhat take its foot off the gas knowing its trip to the title game was already in hand.
