2010 College World Series: UCLA/CSU-Fullerton Super Regional Recap

One of the most improbable comebacks was completed by the UCLA Bruins on Sunday, a team that had been down to its last out in Game 2 of the Super Regionals against Cal State-Fullerton.
Down 6-5 in Game 2 on their home field in Los Angeles, having already lost Game 1 to the Titans, the Bruins took the lead on a two-run home run from Tyler Rahmatulla.
The Titans tied it in the bottom of the frame with a run of their own, but walks and key base hits gave the Bruins four runs and an 11-7 victory in 10 innings.
The stage was set for Game 3 at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Cal State Fullerton is no stranger to the College World Series, having played in Super Regionals in 10 of the 12 seasons since the NCAA began the current format in 1999. The Titans won the title in 2004.
However, a two-hitter complete game by UCLA's Rob Rasmussen, a second-round pick by the Florida Marlins, stymied the Titans' powerful offense.
Nine strikeouts and just one walk later, the miracle comeback was complete with an 8-1 Bruins victory. Having received CPR in the form of an offensive attack, the Bruins punched their ticket to Omaha.
