Brett Williams Video: Watch NC State CF’s Epic Diving Flip Catch

College baseball typically isn't as high on the marquee in the sports world, but North Carolina State center fielder Brett Williams made a play worthy of a top-10 slot on any best-plays list.
Williams made a sensational catch on Wednesday in the Wolfpack's 9-2 victory over the New Mexico State Aggies. He laid out with full extension for a fly ball and essentially did a cartwheel in midair as he snagged it backhanded.
NC State baseball's Twitter page pointed out that Williams made the No. 2 play on SportsCenter.
What was most impressive was the body control on display from the redshirt senior, who boldly put his health on the line this early in the year. It was a big risk, considering Williams suffered a season-ending knee injury on opening day in 2012.
However, it paid off—and made for one heck of a highlight that is likely to stick around on reels for the foreseeable future.
