College World Series 2012: Returning Wildcat Stars to Watch for in 2013

Arizona went 10-0 at the College World Series to win the school’s fourth baseball national championship, and several talented players will be back next year.
The Wildcats put on a dominant performance and never trailed during any game in Omaha.
Arizona had several players taken in this year’s draft, including star shortstop Alex Mejia and ace Kurt Heyer. These players may or may not return next year, but regardless of their decisions, there will still be top-level talent in Tucson in 2013.
Here are the players to watch for as Arizona tries to defend its title next season.
Johnny Field
Field led the Wildcats in hitting this season with a .370 average and a .529 slugging percentage.
The outfielder cracked 18 doubles and seven triples during Arizona’s title-winning season. He came through in the clutch with a game-winning double in the 12th inning against Florida State at the College World Series.
