College World Series 2012 Scores: South Carolina Needs More Offense vs. Arizona

South Carolina earned their third trip in a row back to the College World Series Finals after beating Arkansas 3-2.They will need to step up their offensive production against Arizona, though, if they want to three-peat.
The Wildcats are an offensive juggernaut.
They scored 10 or more runs in four games during the month of June, starting with a three-game stretch in which they scored 47 total runs to start the regionals.
The Gamecocks, on the other hand, have gotten to this point on the arms of their strong pitching rotation and a bit of luck. They have only scored 38 runs total to this point in the tournament, and they have won three games that were decided by one run while losing another.
They won their game against Arkansas on a Barrett Astin walk to Adam Matthews with two outs and the bases loaded. They won't get so lucky against the Wildcats.
Simply put, they need to start generating a heck of a lot more offense if they hope to keep up with Arizona's hot bats.
