College World Series 2012: One Player to Watch on Every Team in Omaha

The College World Series starts this weekend and here’s the cream of the crop from the eight teams that will be slugging it out for the national title.
Stony Brook – IF William Carmona
It would be easy to go with Travis Jankowski here, but we’re going to go with his teammate Carmona. It’s hard to deny a guy hitting .422 and leading the nation in hits, it also hard to deny a player who leads Stony Brook in home runs and RBI’s like Carmona does.
Carmona is batting .399 with 12 homers and 72 RBI’s.
UCLA – OF Jeff Gelalich
Gelalich has been the Bruins’ lone home run threat this season with 11. He also leads the team in batting average, hitting .365 and RBI’s, knocking in 46.
Florida State – OF James Ramsey
This was a tough decision, but Ramsey has to be the guy to watch to for the Seminoles heading into the CWS.
