University Baseball Returns to Thunder Bay After Ten Years

After ten long years, spring time baseball is finally returning to Lakehead University.
As a new member of the Thunder Bay community I couldn’t be more thrilled to see baseball on campus. Led by former Chicago Cubs farmhand Jason Hart, the school and student body are indeed in for a wild ride.
Hart really is the best man suited to lead this team to a championship.
Five-years of professional experience with the Chicago Cubs, and one with Thunder Bay as a member of the Whiskey Jacks, Hart appeared in 236 games, converting 77 saves, and putting together a 17-21 record with a 3.19 ERA in over 300 innings. The inaugural Thunderwolves players should count their lucky stars when it comes to the coaching and the experience Hart will bring to them.
With his playing days now behind him, Hart has played a big role in the cultivation of much of the talent that has come out of Thunder Bay over the course of the last 13 years.
