Jacob Hannemann To Play Two Sports at BYU
Published by Quinn Gooch on June 1, 2010
Jacob Hannemann from Lone Peak High School in Highland, Utah was already holding a partial scholarship from BYU to play baseball when Cougar head football coach Bronco Mendenhall showed up with a full-ride offer to play football.
The 6′1″ 190-pound Hannemmann, fresh from his team’s 2010 Utah State Baseball Championship, spoke with Deep Shades of Blue and says that he will suit up for both Coach Mendenhall during the fall and baseball Coach Vance Law in the spring.
That busy athletic schedule will be put on hold for a couple of years though as Jake leaves for an LDS Church mission to Arkansas in July. We caught up with Hannemann as part of our continuing series of updates on the BYU signing class of 2010.
